Experiment: Figure Voting ration from Gore to Bush (Al Gore to George W. Bush)
First step is to watch or read something of politics having to do with the Presidential
Elections. Than send out QUESTIONAIRES to RESPONDENTS to do some UNSTRUCTED INTERVIEWS on
a possible 5 minute INTERVIEW. During the interview they will conduct a SURVEY on the
POPULATION that we have found. The questions could be a RANDOM SAMPLE question , maybe a
STRATIFIED RANDOM SAMPLE, or most likely a SELF-ADMINISTERED QUESTIONAIRES. Most likely
there will be some PARICIPANT OBSERVATIONS, to really find out what is going on. After
all of the observations and questions are asked and answers are looked at, there will be
a SECONDARY ANALYSIS of the DOCUMENTS. Than about 1 week after that, we would send people
back out and ask the same questions, and find what or who the INDEPENDEN VARIABLE and
DEPENDENDT VARIBALE are. Than I would set up a EXPERIEMTNAL GROUP and a CONTROL GROUP,
and see the different results from that. Through the whole experiment I would make sure
to watch for CAUSATION, CORRELATION, and SPURIOUS CORRELATION.
